7/03 : M C Chris meets Transformers
On Tuesday, July 3, M C Chris returns to the WOW Hall for a special pre-Transformers concert. Chris will be attending the world premiere of Transformers in Eugene and is inviting fans to see the film with him.
M C Chris, the comic-voiced rapper widely known for his involvement with the Adult Swim comedy block on Cartoon Network, made musical history, of sorts, when he invited the audience to join him for the world premiere of Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith, when he debuted here in 2005. The WOW Hall was able to reserve an entire movie theater so the people who attended the concert could see the flick with Chris.
Well, now he wants to do it again. A big booster of anything animated or sci-fi, Chris is flying into Eugene just to attend the world premiere with his local fans (yes, folks, he really loves us!).
Transformers is set to premiere July 4 at midnight. Directed by Michael Bay, this eagerly awaited science fiction action adventure spectacular tells the story of two dueling alien races, the Autobots and the Decepticons, as they bring their battle to Earth, leaving the future of humankind hanging in the balance.
Tickets for M C Chris at the WOW Hall are $15 in advance, $15 at the door. Tickets to see the world premiere of Transformers with M C Chris at Valley River Center’s Regal Cinemas are $10 in advance, available only at WOW Hall and limited to 200. Â Â
