So let’s talk a little about me, shall we?
I haven’t updated this mother in a grip due mostly to the fact that I’ve been doing my best to hold down two jobs since September. Add to that the fact that I just moved into to a new place with The Brothers Billings and that I’m still trying to find time to finish the album, you can maybe see how the blog has slipped to the back-back-back-burner. Well it seemed like I was going to get a little more time since, on Thursday, I quit working at Papa Murphy’s. Soak that in for a little bit. I know I did. I’ve been there for a little over two years and at my young age that’s quite a long time to work at the same shitty place. The beauty of P. Murph’s was that it was the easiest job on the planet and I always got really cheap pizza to bring home. The downside being I had to work with a storyteller of a manager who “never cared” and an owner who only showed up to make everyone feel like it was their first day. They also never gave me a raise, so fuck them.
But fear not, because three days after quitting P. Murph’s, I got a job at my local food court’s Sbarro’s. Yes, it seems me and pizza were destined to be together. People from the TC might also find this humorous, as they would know that Sbarro’s Columbia Center location is roughly 40 yards away from my other job at GameStop. Growing up I hated the mall, and dreaded anytime spent there. Now it seems I live in Columbia Center. Oh. Sweet. Irony. Wednesday I go in to fill out paperwork and whatnot, then shuffle a few feet and start a shift at GameStop. It’s rather mind blowing.
With the one day off I have this week being Tuesday, I plan on making the most of it by finishing the album as much as humanly possible. In the few weeks since I posted my tentative tracklisting it’s already changed several times. No more Diss Missed. Adding dj john’s remix. (By the way, dj john remixed Play With Me. Bethzilla says, and I quote, “it trips me out… in a very HOT way.”) Adding a song called Turn Your Radio Off. Thought about re-adding Super-Earth, then changed my mind again. Very busy music-wise. Add to that that the Grammer Club project is nearing completion, you are very soon going to be drowning in a river of Beefy. Still waiting on the elusive yt cracker however. He is a tricky rabbit to catch no doubt.
In other personal news, The Brothers Billings and I are now totally moved into our new apartment, and have been for the last 18 days. We loves it! Seriously, when I’m not in my new home I’m pretty heartbroken. I love our living room and the video games and our posters and our smoking balcony and all the nerd shit all over the place. It’s so good! A couple weeks ago we had a little housewarming get together and Tuna busted out the camera. This happened…
Oh such good times. Expect the following get-togethers friends of mine:
Superbad DVD viewing
Beefy’s BDay
Beefy’s Album release party (maybe same day as birthday to match Router’s release date)
Smash Brothers Brawl party
Hang Outs For The Hell Of It party
I Haven’t Gotten Drunk/High In A Long Time party
ect
Anywho, have a nice night and I’ll try to update a little more often. Boosh!
