like i said last blog, i kinda got into star trek and i feel this kind of, i dunno, porn guilt about it. it’s the new ones off itunes that have state of the art transition shots. new planets, shots of the enterprise. but a lot of the effects are still old and cheesey. i love kirk, every line is killer! and spock is awesome too. he just doesnt get us. i like how mc coy replaced an older doctor from the pilot and uhura replaced all the cute white chicks on board. it’s weird to see a young scotty. everyone makes me think of guy fleegman (gq got me into it.) and it’s awesome that the plot for eps one and two is basically the same. a virus infects the ship. back to back, different viruses. they dont care. that’s awesome. they’re already fucking with the reality they havent even given us exposition on. no set up just go, kinda cool.
