I know it seems like all I do anymore is post new YouTube vids, but that’s not true! With that said, check out my new YouTube Videos.
First is a little music video I made using a ton of random clips I had on my PC set to Glenn Case’s fantastic “Pencil Me In.” It was basically a little test I wanted to do to see how hard it was to edit a video to sound. I also wanted to see how many videos I could fit into my new software without making it crash. I think it turned out pretty good, and it’s the perfect sentimental video if your name happens to be Beef Thompson.
Next is a video taken all the way back in March that I was only able to edit recently. There was a lot of stuff on the vid I didn’t necessarily want on the ol’ YouTubes, but I was finally able to put out the first part of it. Enjoy my former drunkness.
Good times no? Now onto some updates.
Rolling Doubles is more or less out of my hands at this point, and now awaits the sweet and loving finishing touches of tanner4105 aka T-Byte. Everyone who has heard the unfinished version really seem to dig it, so I’m very hopeful that the world at large will take a liking to it and to me.
I think the Grammar Club just straight up ownz TheSixtyOne.com. We are currently #2 in the hip-hop leader board with all of our songs at some point ending up on the front page of the website. Ok, so maybe we don’t own it the same way Jonathan Coulton does, but Jonathan Coulton is a shiny golden god who descends from the heavens to provides with amazing and angelic music. If you haven’t signed up for thesixtyone.com yet please do so now. It’s a great site that combines my love of music and my love of leveling up. You can also check out new versions of I Don’t Wanna Be Right and Internet Celebrity at my page by clicking right here.
I had an ultrasound today. The guy assured me there was no baby inside me.
Yesterday I had an interview for what I like to call a “grown-up job” and with what it pays I really hope I get it. So if you believe in such things, wish me good luck and karma and other stuff like that. If I do end up getting the gig, best believe I’m going to add to my <3 tattoo with a whole sleeve of IM shorthand. In the words of my good friend Ryan St. Cameraman, it will be epic!
That is all for now. Love you to death.

Lost. Lost! LOST!
There are a lot of really exciting things going on around Hipster, please! at present, but all I can think about this morning is Lost.
The Season 3 closer featured flashforwards of Jack’s miserable post-island existence, but knowing where things are going has only served to make me more excited about the remainder of the show. Well played, J.J. Well played.
With Charlie and Mr. Eko gone, I’m hoping that my two other faves Sayid and Sawyer get some good facetime/plot twists. I’m also hoping that Locke didn’t kill Naomi; I’m not sure if I like what she’s bringing to the show character-wise, but she sure is nice to look at!
the skrulls think they own earth.
i cant wait for april.
PLEASE POST IN BLOG OR I WILL SELL ALL MY COMICS ON EBAY
Last night I had the great honor of being a guest on the Wired Blogs GeekDads podcast. It was actually a really fun experience, and, while I was a bit nervous to start, it’s kind of impossible not to feel at ease around those guys.
I spend a good deal of my time here ruminating on geeky issues, but I seldom get to talk about “dad stuff” so it was it was a big deal for me to get to explore the latter and its relation to the former. We talked about everything from table-top gaming to bread making to the 50th anniversary of the modern Lego brick to Li’l X’s new “tattoo.” I had a blast, to say the least.
Special thanks go out to panelist Dan Olson and Vincent Janoski for being so welcoming, to my man Brian Little for extending the invite, and to editor Ken Denmead for making it all happen. Hopefully I didn’t come off sounding like a total jackass, and if I did, Ken, I expect you to fix that in post.
The show in question is Episode 11, and it should pop up on the RSS soon. Take a listen, and be sure to give the Geekdad blog some love as well.

I shared this with Matt and Church last week when it hit Joystiq, but it wasn’t until my pal Anthony mentioned it to me a couple of days ago that I actually considered passing it on to you. In retrospect, I can’t quite figure out why.
At any rate, since this one’s too good to wait until the next NNIB, I thought I’d spring it on you now.
The following audio is from a recent call-in to Coast to Coast AM in which a theoretical physicist named “Gordon” tells host and listeners about a mysterious government agent that seems to be following him. While this isn’t the first time someone’s given a voice to our usually silent Half-Life hero – Antisocial’s “Remember My Name” comes immediately to mind – it’s damn sure the funniest!

is a great help, but it’s still annoying to stash stuff and not be able to buy or sell anything because no store will have me. it kinda reminds me what it’s like to eat in nyc alone, where they forget your order, dont give you water, seat you at the counter etc. i was told by fans on my message board that i have to join the brotherhood (done) and go to their hq where an arconian will do business with me. and one dude even keeps vials of blood in his room. this game is so much friggin work, thank god for speed travel. i feel like i havent even gotten to the beginning yet even though im almost done with the main quest. ha. that last sentence sounds just my life currently.
ps. obviously new page, new mix. snobots rule, death under mysterious circumstances does not.
oh and paramount, please make sure there are epic shots of cobra like saving private ryan’s normandy beach shots. lots of hiss tanks and dont forget the cobra gliders!
oh and the awesome joseph gordon leavitt is in it but they wont say who he plays. i would think he’d prolly be great for zartan or shipwreck albeit young, but actually rumblings are that he’s cobra commander. how weird would that be???
