this is the first casting where im like fuck. i mean he’s a great actor and all, but all this crazy race casting all over the place. i dont want this to be too politically correct. i just want ripcord to be ripcord. take on cobra island by himself and get knocked out by zartan, just as storm shadow and snake eyes confront cobra commander. i dont mean to sound racist i mean there’s stalker, alpine, roadblock, lots of black joes! i feel racist just typing this. im sure it’ll be good. i bought the cobra with a jetpack and a buzzer. buzzer’s like hunter s thompson. if he had stayed with the hells angels.

the good news is that i have only four songs left. the last batch are really great. im starting to have faith in the record. its a nerve wracking time. i feel this time more than ever it means something more, cuz im on my own. i did it myself without a business partner or a manager. so it’s my little baby. and im starting to love it. maybe cuz it’s filling out. the things is almost done. of course we’re gonna prolly have to make it all over again, but for round one, im pretty happy. i’ve started typing up the lyrics. so my anologian ways have come to a close. they’re easier to read, and the pencil was fading on lots of the originals. very hard to see on stage. while working on the record yesterday we both agreed that this was going to be a difficult album to perform. i’m glad i’ve got five months to get ready.

looks like the show in tennessee is cancelled. they just werent getting back to us and we had to book something else in los angeles. i still would like to do a benefit of some kind or maybe just a show for the troops. i get lots of mail from you guys. you just gotta get the ball rolling. i approached the uso when i started touring and they weren’t into it. so we gotta do it ninja stylie. speaking of ninja, did you know there’s a ninja jewel thief loose in staten island!

it looks like i’ll be in cali a week early so i called up rob crow and asked if i could crash and maybe play him the album and work with him a little on it. he was totally down and he’s a major nerd so he’s gonna show me all the cool comic book stuff there etc. im stoked.

i think i got the roadie in tow, i just have to figure out what day i get there. i wanna try to do magic mountain and knotts berry farm before tour even starts! more rollercoaster fun. it never ends. i get to ride X. rock. im getting merch ready for tour too. not sure what shirts i’ll bring but only two. i’ll definitely bring some decks and hats, hopefully there will be some left. i think im definitely gonna make an mcchris vampire hoodie. go to mcchris.com to check him out.

well the weather is a springtime 60 degrees today. so im gonna walk the bridge and get a haircut and a shave at washington square. then back here to write more songs. almost done!!!!
