mc chris
people ask why do u blog so much? it’s become routine is really the answer so when u fall out of it, a few days can pass without nary a cap. mainly because there’s no net. and next thing u know i’ve seen rambo, been to the mystery spot, the mystery house and played the historic fillmore in san francisco.

rambo: awesome, i love stallone born again christian movies laden with biblical imagery. “i have a father but i dont know if he’s alive,” and then the prodigal son returns last shot. and jesus the sniper. and all the bow awesomeness. (speaking of did u all see what david mack did for my avengers issue. he made hawkeye wear an mc chris shirt. is that not a dream come true or what? i will blog the face off of this news.)

mystery spot: best part of tour is where i talked to the tour guide while everyone was playing in the crazy shack. i asked, do u watch lost, he took the ipod earphone out of his ear and said he was listening to the lost podcast, we both talked about the line, the light refracts weird here, it’s scattered. he pointed to some of the trees that kinda corkscrewed as they went up and said some say how the light hit the trees caused this. all very lost. u should wiki.

winchesterhouse: 165 rooms, one trap door? at the least the story is sad, two hairs inside a safe inside a safe inside a safe. the place really was quite random, a flashlight tour would be best i think. my tour had a group of 8 year old national championship cheerleaders. so they were first in line holding hands peering around everyone corner scooby style. but there were no ghosts. i asked the guide about murders or deaths in the house and he said it had never been recorded. just lots of construction workers. mainly its haunted by those who died being shot by winchester. or so they say. i had fun finding the number 13 in all kinds of things, all the stained glass, and the coat hangers. 13 hangers in a closet, kinda cool.

fillmore: wow. it’s like playing in the church of music. very cool. i was intimidated but did ok, my little lap top and i. for the past two nights i’ve played to about 1000 people a night. santa cruz was better, more love from the audience, but fillmore was still fun. and so many people. this may be as good as it gets. crowds this big. i dunno if i’ll ever get all that on my own. much love and thanks to pinback for at least letting me see what it’s like. they always watch my show from the wings which is very much so a confidence builder. and rob keeps telling me im gonna be big. i hope so.

oh scholastic art awards hollered at me about doing an interview. i had won an award about fifteen years ago for an ink drawing i made. now they want to interview me and the final recording of it is kept in the national library of congress. to all other press peoples, sorry im not replying to your emails. press stressed me out last fall so im just not doing it until album time. i am making a few little exceptions, a ghostbusters website and deviant nation and this thing, but other than that. im just chilling and dont much feel like talking about myself outside of these blogs. ur supposed to do press no matter what because u need to get the word out, me especially, because i have no marketing just word of mouth. but it sucks that no one asks me what my favorite food is. everyone asks the wrong questions every time. it’s the lamest part of the whole thing. and then you gotta say, but at least they want to talk to me. too bad the conversation is gonna suck.

on the brighter side, the drives and the weather have been beautiful. i know it’s gonna be over before i know it and then it’s time to stress the album into completion. work work work. i feel like the mayor in blazing saddles.

PLEASE REPLY IN BLOG. THEN BE MY VALENTINE?
