first off. why are u revealing cameos? arent they fun only as surprises. why is a samoan playing my favorite latino character in the history of latinos. delgado was my favorite figure growing up, and i still have a picture of him on my wall. i was glad i didnt hear casting on him because that meant he would be something cool in a sequel. i pray this is all we see of him. kinda disappointed. i think it’s cuz i love going to rock movies, to LAUGH at the rock. i dont want to laugh at shipwreck. i smell a parrot joke.
brendan fraser as gung ho? i dunno know about all that. it’s cool i guess that they’re actually now around the age i always imagined them to be: early fourties, late thirties. i remember when my brother came home from ace hardware and had bought gung-ho and threw it down into the basement and told my other brother and i to “share” it. need i make the two dogs and a steak comparison? i guess i just did. he wasnt as important to me as say zartan or firefly, i dont remembr going on too many gungho missions. and now that i think about it i probably have a story for every figure i got. i remember i was on radio in the nw and i said that i got my first pubic hair the day serpentor showed up. the shifting of the tides. i remember putting all my joes away. it’s weird to grow up.
i get that this is stephen sommers casting his buddies. but seriously though i’m getting kinda nervous about this whole thing. the only way i could be convinced is if they flew me to the set and gave me a bunch of free toys and let me hide in sienna miller’s trailer so i could watch her get nekkid. that’s the only way.
