today i returned and it was way cooler. less people and everything was marked down. i just looked at gi joe 25th anniversary figures. i almost got a gung ho and crimson guard but thought better of it. and i seriously looked at this for like ten minutes:

i finally got to perform and most of the comic book club was busy interviewing brenan frasier so they needed me to stall. i started the show cold while kids either played ds’ in bean bags, or furiously went through packs of cards, or they just fell asleep. scattered around were a bunch of mc fans. i started up, built summore houses with the nails i was nailing, not a line out of place. got to be interviewed so i tried out a bunch of new jokes about bulletproof and oblivion. it was fun. a big bunch of kids, most of them in costumes gathered round on the side afterwards and we took pics etc.
i didnt think id get recognized much either days but i did all the time. one kid chased me down and was like how do i work for adult swim. where’s your show, is it online, can i see it? no? you got lots of work to do kid! i have no idea why i got as lucky as i did to have the job i had, but i’m not sure if they’re in the practice of letting goofballs in off the street. at least, not after me. i did stop and say hi to everyone that knew me, except the first person i guess, i was so shocked cuz i was in a nerd fog, and then i snapped out of it so i just said hey and ran away.
it was a fun day and i sold a few cd’s. i got to plug all my stuffs and my rapping made a crowd gather which was awesome. it reminded me of warped, lots of people walking by, then stopping, then coming closer. i love new people getting interested. one kid said he had been to the arlene’s grocery show. that was my first one, in a blizzard, in 2005. now i feel like i’ve covered so much, grown for enough years that everyone that comes up says. do u remember me, i saw you in_____ back in _____. normally i can’t remember every body but i’d sure like to try. sometimes i’m amazed by how many rhymes i can memorize and put in my head, why not names to faces?
good news with my oblivion character btw, i’m no longer a vampire and i moved onto the lucien mission of the dark brotherhood. gemberling, jerk face that he is, spoiled the sanctuary mission by revealing the end. so no one watch his show on adult swim when it starts in june! no one! i think spoiling games might be worse than spoiling movies.
but yeah, anyway, i’m now a messenger assassin with a kill bill list. i love finding my directions in a bush under the great oak. awesome. i think i might’ve screwed up the who dunnit. i planned it so the drunk and the richie got to kill each other but i should’ve set the drunk and his suppposed “love child” against each other. all the dark brotherhood missions are awesome though and when they revealed the murder mystery plot, i just said, “cool” out loud. this game is infinitely awesome.
i actually have the week off. except for a cheyenne record on monday and lost on thursday. i want to join the thieves guild and find out about the gray fox. i want to also be a mage and get square with the fighter’s guild. they cancelled my membership. and i’m an orc archer named yoda, i should be waaaay better with a bow. i need to go back to those old threads and see what you guys recommend i should do.
well that was my day. a pretty good one. again, like the museum q and a and perfomance, i was relaxed and it paid off with big laughs. zen and the art of video game monologues.
