I was like... didn't I used to make constant similes out of unpopular PC games like Twinsen? If I make songs about relationships with girls that actually happen or being amazing at rap... am I going to lose the nerdcore audience? The answer, for me, has been: yes! Especially because even though I'm still peppering my rhymes with things like a reference to changes made between the Japanese and North American versions of Sailormoon ("I switch it up like Malachite and Kunzite" - Aww Shucks), I rap too fast half the time and too mush-mouthed the other half and poof there goes my niche market.
